A 15-year-old Danish teen who murdered her mother after watching ISIS’ beheading videos has been sentenced to prison along with her older jihadi lover.
Lisa Borch stabbed her mother last October with a long-bladed kitchen knife, teaming up with her radical Muslim boyfriend Bakhtiar Mohammed Abdulla, 29.
Together, they stabbed her artist mother, Tina Römer Holtegaard, at least 20 times at their home in the rural community of Kvissel, located in northern Denmark, according to The Daily Mail.
The two planned to escape to Syria and fight for ISIS after the murder. Borch claimed at the trial that they were ‘just good friends’ but authorities believe they were lovers.
The mother and daughter had been fighting in the weeks leading up to the crime, with the mom pressuring the daughter to break off her relationship with her Muslim boyfriend and “live the life of a normal teenager.”
Prosecutors believe it was their escalating, intense arguments that cost the mother her life.
Prosecutor Karina Skou told the court that the pair made a diabolical pact to kill the mom, saying: ‘This murder was cold blooded, ice cold and committed in a bestial manner,’ as reported by The Daily Mail.
Borch was sentenced to nine years in prison, and the first part of the term will be spent in a youth offenders institute. Abdulla received a 13-year sentence and will be expelled from Denmark when he completes his term.
The court heard how the teenager became obsessed with militant Islam after entering into an adulterous
relationship with another Muslim man.
But he broke off the affair with the teenager and moved back to Sweden to be with his wife and children.
The teen found a new soul mate in Iraq-born Abdulla, whom she befriended after they met at a refugee center near her home, according to The Daily Mail.
After the horrific murder, Borch called the police and told them: “I heard my mother scream and I looked out the window and saw a white man running away. Please come here, there is blood everywhere.”
Holtegaard’s husband (Borch’s stepdad) was away on a short business trip at the time of her murder.
When police arrived at the house, they found Borch sitting on a chair in the living room playing with her iPhone and watching videos on YouTube. When police asked where her mother was, Borch refused to leave her computer and simply pointed upstairs. The daughter’s apparent disinterest made her a prime suspect within minutes, according to authorities.
They found her mother in bed, covered with her own blood.
A later police examination of the computer revealed that Borch watched repeated YouTube videos of the beheadings of two Britons who had gone to Syria on humanitarian missions, David Haines and Alan Henning.
“She watched them the whole evening long,” prosecutors noted at her trial.
The court heard that Borch’s twin sister had recently moved out of the family home because she couldn’t stand the constant arguing that went on between mother and sister, according to The Daily Mail.
Borch even had the audacity to show her twin sister the knife she planned to use to kill their mother prior to the murder, but she thought it was a joke.
In court Borch and Abdulla blamed one another for the killing of Holtegaard.
Abdulla claimed to have only arrived to “help Lisa” after the teenager had already killed her mother. But Borch said Abdulla had actually been the one who wielded the knife.
Although Abdulla was no longer at the property when police arrived, investigators found his fingerprints in the victim’s bedroom.
Police could not establish who’d actually delivered the blows that killed Holtegaard and both of the accused were found guilty.
The two were ordered to pay approximately $62,000 in compensation to Holtergaard’s husband, as well as to her twin sister and a younger brother.
Borch’s twin was in court to see her sister sentenced but did not look at her during the trial, according to The Daily Mail.
So0 why is this story in God Reports?
It is bloody and gruesome and in no way glorifies God.
