Christmas is being cancelled in Europe and Australia, thanks to Islamists and progressives.
In Europe, Christmas markets are being closed or patrolled by heavily armed police. In Australia, the Myer store caved in and canceled its much-loved 75-year-old tradition of glittering Christmas decorations.
“Westerners are like that frog in a pot: You keep adjusting and losing your freedoms, customs, and values bit by bit, in the end, it will be too late for you to wind the clock back,” warns Harris Sultan, on his YouTube channel. He is an ex-Muslim Pakistani immigrant living in Australia.
Christmas markets in England, have been canceled due to cumbersome rules, and as a result of terrorist threats, the BBC reported. In Manchester, the police took the unusual step to patrol with heavy munitions, frightening shoppers and dampening the Christmas spirit.
Meanwhile in Germany, an Iraqi immigrant was arrested for planning to drive a car into a Bavarian Christmas market with the intention of killing many.
The Israel-Hamas war has touched off a frenzy of demonstrations elsewhere as Islamists and their progressive allies stage protests, while some plan violent acts.
“Bombs are dropping while you are shopping,” an Australian far-left activist shouts in a megaphone outside Myer, which canceled its displays but then reversed its decision when police pledged to protect it.
An anonymous online post urged protesters to “Crash the Christmas Windows,” while the group Disrupt War invited people to bring “flags, placards, banners, noise-makers… to interrupt the Christmas Window Reveal.”
“Christmas is cancelled, and there will be no joy or frivolity while children in Gaza are massacred,” the social media post says.
“Thanks to the Islamists and far-left thugs, Myer cancelled their Christmas decorations out of fear that pro-Palestinian mobs would target their staff and decorations,” Sultan reported.
Now, the Syrian revolution has sparked celebrations. But why do the Syrian immigrants target Christmas markets and churches to cheer Bashar al-Assad’s fall? Tousi TV news documented a huge protest that took over a Christmas market in Germany (they were chanting “Allahu Akba”), while in France protesters launched fireworks at a church, requiring riot police to come out and break it up.
In nations where Islam is dominant, Islamists have exploded bombs in churches on Christmas. While Muslim apologists say Christians are protected and flourish under Islamic rule, Islam has a long and riddled history of over-taxing Christians, with radical Islamists perpetrating violence against them.
Now, the violence is in Europe. European Home Affairs Commission Ylva Johansson warned that for 2024 there is a “huge risk of terrorist attacks in the European Union.”
And German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser similarly said there is a “risk of further emotionalization and radicalization of violent Islamist perpetrators,” as reported by the BBC.
This is not what multiculturalism was supposed to bring. “Something (Christmas displays) we’ve been doing for nearly 75 years peacefully and successfully in Australia, we can no longer do it because we have imported foreign elements and their toxic ideology that hate what we do here in Australia,” Sultan says.
