This is one of the most powerful videos I’ve seen in a while. In 1993 U.S. Special Forces went to Mogadishu, Somalia to capture a war criminal, Mohamad Aidid, a mission that was made famous in the powerful film Black Hawk Down. Jeff Struecker, a strong Christian, is one of several Army Rangers whose story inspired the film. In this video, he tells the story of his recent return to the site of the terrible firefight, an area of Somalia that is still unsettled and dangerous today. Struecker share the difference his faith made then and now.
