Disbelieving, Peter Akbar watched as his brother, a new convert of Christ, cast a demon out of his aunt and she was healed of a menstrual flow that would not stop and seemed to be hemorrhaging her to death.

“As a Muslim, I asked why was the demon so scared of the name of Jesus,” he narrates on a Mohamad Faridi video on YouTube. “I started reading the Bible. They tell you not to read the Bible. They say there are spells in the Bible that change you.

”After reading it, I can affirm there is a spell in the Bible,” he adds. “It is the love of God.”

Today, Peter is a Christian like his brother.  He acts as senior pastor of the Grace Community Fellowship in Santacruz East, Mumbai, India.

Peter Akbar grew up in home so deeply Muslim that his eldest sister won an award for quickly passing Koranic school, being so young to recite the Koran in Arabic.

But salvation broke into the darkness when one day his brother, Mustafa, out and about, heard of voice: Mustafa, look at me, I am your God.

Mustafa looked around to see who was speaking. There was no one. Again the voice spoke.

That’s when he saw a church and felt an irresistible urge to go in. He tried to fight the urge because as a Muslim he believed they follow corrupted traditions.

He tried to escape by going into a movie theater. He tried going into a mosque. But his legs carried him into the church, Peter relates.

Inside church he found out whose voice had spoken. It was Jesus.

Soon enough, his family figured out something was up. Mustafa no longer went to mosque. He no longer prayed to Allah. They found out he was going to church, which set off a lengthy and painful family dispute.

His mother recited the Koran over Mustafa. Peter told his brother he would no longer consider him a brother.

God favored Mustafa. He granted special miracles of healing so that even cancers were healed. When Auntie came with hemorrhaging menstruation, Mother no longer opposed her son’s faith. Have Mustafa pray over you.

Peter couldn’t believe his ears. When Mustafa laid hands on her, a demon manifested. She fell on the floor screaming.

I will not leave this woman! the demon screamed using her voice.

Who sent you? Mustafa asked.

The demon answered, and Mustafa and Peter didn’t know who it was but later found out it was a neighbor with whom Auntie argued over changed property lines.

Mustafa cast out the demon, and Auntie was healed of the hemorrhaging.

Peter couldn’t believe what he had seen. The demon acted terrorized by the name of Jesus. According to Islam, Jesus is just one of the prophets.

He turned to the Bible.

“When you read the Bible, you will understand how much God loves us,” Peter says. “I read in the Bible that Jesus drove out demons and gave authority to His followers. In Philippians I read that God the Father had highly exalted his son and gave him a name over every other name and that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow.

“The imam was right,” he adds. “There is a spell in the Bible. That spell is called the love of God.”
