North West – daughter to polemical rapper Kanye West – has defined her life in God, even though she’s only 10.

“Dont trust nobody else except God,” North says in an interview conducted by her mom, Kim Kardashian. She responded to the question: “One lesson you’ll never forget.”

“To trust God only,” she says.

The best day in her life? “One day in Italy,” North says. “It was like very chill just spending time with my siblings. That’s when I brought them close to God. There was like these devil statues there… I was like, what should we do? we gotta pray.

“So I taught Chi (Chicago) and Psalm how to pray,” she adds. “I taught Saint to pray. God really did his thing.”

Her dad has now shortened his name to Ye. When Ye got saved in 2019, it was a cultural phenomenon. When he grew up, some family members were Christian and tried to share the Gospel with him. But then, after a psychotic episode on stage, he checked into a facility and started reading the Bible.

Before Kim divorced Ye.

He was unapologetic in his proclamations for Christ and tried to teach his kids. He ditched the Hennessy, the popular cognac brand popular in hip-hop culture, and tried to be a better husband and dad.

His wife, Kim, didn’t appear to appreciate this new faith, and the couple divorced in 2021.

“Divorce feels like heavy breathing, like you’ve been set on fire for the truth then labeled a liar,” says Ye. “Divorce feels like you’re walking on glass.”

He tried to remain involved in his kids’ lives.

“I may be divorced on paper, but I’m not divorced from the idea of being the protector,” Ye said during an interview on Piers Morgan.

After releasing three albums with Christian themes, Ye appeared to stop being a Christian.

Instead, he became a god.

“I am god,” he said in an interview that caused Christians to distance themselves from him and caused detractors to roll their eyes.

Some observers think he was taking medication for mental illness or some other drug.

Meanwhile, North, Chicago, Saint and Psalm have been growing up under the guidance of Kim. For her part, Kim is baptized in the Armenian church and gives lip service to being a Christian, but her life’s fruits make one wonder (she became famous by releasing – reportedly purloined – a sex tape).

Now, North has proclaimed her faith worldwide, thanks to her mom’s interview.

She may become the means by which Ye returns to God.

His latest music seems to indicate he’s returning to faith.

“When it’s dark, you don’t know where you goin, Need a light bearer to lead you home,” Ye sings on the upcoming song “Preacher Man.”
