It was a blustery Saturday along the coast of Maine, with whitecaps forming to the horizon’s edge. Jane Dobson received some jolting news that morning, October 2, 2010. A close friend in Wisconsin had passed away the night before.

“She was a beloved sister in Christ, a very dear friend of mine,” Jane notes. “Her husband got up and thought she was asleep, but suddenly he realized she wasn’t breathing.” Her friend Kathleen died from a massive, unexpected heart attack at age 67.

Jane began to grieve for her friend. The Dobson house was full of weekend guests – their kids and old family friends, which made it more difficult for Jane to find time alone with God. Before she received the bad news about her friend, she had been praying that Jesus would reveal Himself in new ways to her house-guests.

“The wind was blowing so hard I couldn’t open my windows even an inch,” Jane recalls. But then suddenly, about 2:00 p.m., the wind stopped. “It went from big white caps to flat calm – like a mill pond,” she notes. “That usually doesn’t happen in October in Maine.”

Due to the favorable weather change, Jane’s husband, Bill, suggested they go for a ride on their boat. Everyone quickly agreed and the group of 10 piled into the Dobson’s 36-foot Hinckley picnic boat, “Lady Jane,” and set out along the coast of Maine.

Jane continued to grieve on the boat. “Everybody left me alone because I was so sad,” she notes. Jane, a retired nurse with an active prayer ministry, offered praise for Kathleen’s life and asked Jesus to send comfort.

After an hour on the vessel, Jane felt a noticeable change in the atmosphere. As their boat rounded a bend close to Owl’s Head State Park’s majestic lighthouse, something unusual happened.

“I felt God’s presence so powerfully it was astounding to me,” she says. “It was like someone flipped a switch and I went from horrific grief to inexpressible joy.” She was so overcome by the peace and presence of God that her grief vanished.

Jane’s daughter, Kirsten recalls the same moment. “We were both praying for peace and comfort for Kathleen’s daughter,” she says. “All of a sudden the most amazing sense of peace came over us.”

About five minutes later, they heard their friend Michael say excitedly, “Who is this guy in white in the picture?” Michael had a new Sony digital camera and felt inspired to attempt some artistic shots on their outing.

“I was trying to be creative with the photos I took that day,” Michael recalls. “My wife Elizabeth and I were sitting there and I was looking at her glasses. I thought that would be a cool picture to take a shot of the reflection in her glasses.”

Immediately he pulled up the images on his digital camera and there appeared to be an unknown figure captured in the tenth photo. “Who is this in Elizabeth’s glasses?” he asked, as those who sat nearby began to look curiously.

Reflection in Elizabeth’s sunglasses

In the photo, a mysterious hooded figure dressed in white stood on the inside edge of the boat, leaning slightly forward, with his head bent down, as if praying.

“Nobody could identify this person,” Michael says. “We went through every scenario and after a while we determined there was nobody who looked like that on the boat and nobody was standing on that side of the boat.”

Kirsten left her mother and went over to see the photograph. “Oh my gosh; who is that?” she exclaimed. As her mind quickly processed the possibilities, she reached a dramatic conclusion: “I think that’s Jesus.”

“Mom, you’ve got to come over here!” Kirsten cried. Then Jane came over and scanned the digital image carefully.

“I’ll tell you who it is,” she volunteered. “It’s either Jesus or one of His angels.” Without her glasses, she couldn’t make a definitive judgment until they returned to the house.

When the passengers began to recognize the implications of this, powerful feelings emerged. “Michael was overcome,” Jane says. “He knew that person wasn’t on the boat and he knew it wasn’t a flesh and blood person.” Their souls were rocked with holy fear, perhaps the way Moses felt when he heard God speak through a burning bush.

“We were all in a daze for the rest of the boat trip,” Kirsten recalls. Some were scared by it. “Michael’s father-in-law kept saying, ‘It can’t be that. There’s no way that could be Jesus.’”

Michael sat there, incredulous. “I’m going to rethink my entire life after taking that picture,” he said.

In the month that followed this unusual incident, Jane prayed for clarity about the identity of the person in the photograph. “I didn’t want to say it was Jesus if it was an angel,” she says. After a month, God gave her a striking vision that confirmed in her mind that the unknown figure is Jesus.

“I knew it was Him. He’s bent forward as if He’s praying, leaning against the inside of the boat”

Michael, who works in the financial services industry in New York, says he is not tech savvy. “There was no messing around with this photo,” he says. “There was no editing to it.” It could not have been a double exposure. He has not formed a conclusion about the identity of the figure.

Jane’s husband Bill is an architect, a pilot, and works in the nursing home business. “I’m a skeptical person, the opposite of my wife,” he says. “This blew my mind. There was no chance to alter the photo because we looked at it right after he took them.”

“I fly airplanes. I don’t see UFOs,” he added. He is convinced the photo is Jesus.

Jane took dozens of copies of the photo to the funeral of her friend Kathleen. When she spoke, she recounted the way Jesus calmed the waters by His tangible presence that day.

God used the photo to bring special comfort to Kathleen’s daughter, Trish, who now keeps a copy framed on her mantle. “What a beautiful gift of God it has been,” Trish says. “That picture helps remind me He is right here in our midst.” During several moments of great sadness she feels the Holy Spirit has directed her to look at the image, and her anguish has been replaced with peace.

As Jane looks back, she realizes that God brought a most unusual answer to everything she prayed, when Jesus calmed the waters on a blustery day.

    • I am not surprised This happened, In my venture in Life , I have witnessed many personal Moves/touches/manifestations By Jesus himself!!! Psalms 34:18 The LORD is near unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. I plan to share some of them soon on my site. They will be in the forums section under testimonies Michael .

    • At first it was hard to believe this because of the fact that the figure seems to be wearing a hoodie with like a slight furring around the back of the neck but God sends angels in our image as well. I don’t discount God sends angels our way in times of grieving.
When my now deceased grandmother was in the hospital, I sat with family in the waiting room. I took 2 photos of 2 of my cousins. No RETAKES at all. Later when my husband and I got into the truck to leave the hospital, I wanted to see the pics I had taken, I was in shock! It was CLEARLY an angel! So…I believe what you witnessed and felt was God’s grace and healing. =)
Below is a posting of the photo I found.

  1. As I understand it, they initially considered the possibility that it might be him, but he was not standing in that area of the boat when the photo was taken, and he seems to have a different build. Notice one jacket tucks in at the waist, and the mystery figure has a covering that drops far below the waist.

    • yes the guy on the bottom picture has a light grayish hooded jacket. But I also noticed, that is the same guy that is taking the picture in the close up of sunglasses. Cannot be in two places at once.
Thank you for sharing this. It was a blessing to me.
Again thank you and may God continue to bless you and keep you.

      • I just did some experimenting with the pics. I took them into my paint program, and zoomed them, then I compared facial features, clothing of the people in the two pictures, and this is what I see….the guy in the grey parka is not the Jesus figure, because his parka is more silver than grey, and it is more bulky. The guy taking the pic has on the same clothes as the guy in the top group pic in the house. What appears to be light blue jeans on Jesus, is actually shadow, and can’t be determined to be blue jeans. Also the grey (silver) jacket has elastic on the armholes. What I see as Jesus, would be wearing a light sweat jacket if it were a person, None of the people were wearing light clothing. The picture is what each person sees, but God does appear to us not always in blinding light, but as we are. He gives us a glimpse of the spirit realm, That’s why faith is believing what we can not see with our natural eyes. The spiritual realm is real, what we see with our natural eyes are temporal, subject to change. The spirit realm is real, and we must walk in the spirit… Have a Blessed Day!

    • I love Jesus dearly, but I am honestly finding it hard to believe this. I want to… Ugh. Why is it so hard to believe that something miraculous like this can and does happen!?

      • I was a “doubting Thomas” until I personally interviewed four people who were on the boat. I’m going through the Daily Walk Bible this year, and my reading this morning was in Mark 4.

“37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

      • What a blessing to not only see this, but to RECEIVE it. I have had several supernatural experiences due to my belief and following of the Holy Spirit. I have no doubt this was, if not Jesus, truly an angel sent from Him.

      • b/c the world tells us its impossible but God’s word saids otherwise
ppl saw christ walk around after he died… its just that was over 2000 yrs ago… that’s not to say he cant if he wants to…. right?

    • I agree with Mark. Jesus appeared many times after He was resurrected, and appeared to the disciples on the boat, They thought they saw a ghost, but when Jesus spoke to them, they then recognized Him. Same goes for the ladies that went to the tomb, and Jesus appeared to them. Did not Jesus say to Thomas. Because you see, you believe…Blessed are those who do not see, yet believe. Yes, Jesus will come again to bring His saints home, that’s the first time, and then He will come again, when all will see Him at the Judgement. Jesus is with us, here, now! I Believe!

      • Acts 27:21-24 Then as they had eaten nothing for a long time, Paul came forward into their midst and said, Men, you should have listened to me, and should not have put to sea from Crete and brought on this disaster and harm and misery and loss.22 But [even] now I beg you to be in good spirits and take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you but only of the ship.23 For this [very] night there stood by my side an angel of the God to Whom I belong and Whom I serve and worship,24 And he said, Do not be frightened, Paul! It is necessary for you to stand before Caesar; and behold, God has given you all those who are sailing with you.

  2. I thought that too! But if you look at the pic of all of them, you can see him in the back of the boat! I’m such a skeptic.

  3. Thank you for sharing! I always have faith and know that Jesus is by our side but to see it is amazing!! Thanks again!

  4. This story is what you choose to believe. As for me, I choose to believe it is Jesus.

..know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Galatians 2:16

  5. Just proves that he will always be here with us in our time of need…… Our Lord & Savior, forever & always…

  6. Amazing how God works! The one with the sunglasses is crazy :O It looks like the person in the hoodie has ??his?? arms open wide like on a cross or something.. Idk just my thinking.. But still crazy ha..

    xo Ashley

  7. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 Quite honestly it looks like a guy in a hoodie wearing jeans. Not quite sure how not having “faith” that this picture is Jesus makes someone a doubter of Jesus. I believe in Jesus and know He is always with us and I don’t need a picture taken by someone I don’t know to believe that. The bible clearly teaches us to be on guard when seeking Him through signs and wonders. “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.” Mark 13: 22-23 Be careful what you put your belief in. Only the people on that boat can truly know if this picture is real. If this was Jesus providing comfort to them then I’m happy for them. “And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.”
    2 Cor 1:7

    • Yes, you’re 100% correct. The most important thing is to have the faith of God and let that faith keep us a we go thru the fire. Not having faith in that picture doesn’t diminish or remove one’s faith in Jesus. We must use spiritual discernment of the Holy Spirit of God to examine ever apparition. Warning: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2Cor 11:14

  8. Everyone has their own opinions – to believe or not to believe. However, I believe. I think Jesus is everywhere at all times. This picture is just a miracle that offers comfort and hope.

    • I agree, Lisa, and I am one who found the hope and comfort I needed tonight. My Mom(almost 90) fell this eve and is in the hospital with a broken hip, facing surgery tomorrow. My friend sent me an encouraging email and assured me of her (specific) prayers for my Mom and that she is not alone, that Jesus is right there with her in her pain. It prompted me to look for a photo of Jesus comforting people. This is when I found this story! PTL

  9. wow this is so amazing i belive that it is jesus.as i travel to va to fla i to took pic’s and got a few angel’s yes angel’s and one of god’s face threw my window. praise god his giving us all signs that he is real and that he is near..praise be to the most high..thank you for sharing this with me..GBY.

  10. As I read the article I was more excited and fearful “Their souls were rocked with holy fear, perhaps the way Moses felt when he heard God speak through a burning bush.” than anything! I knew from just the image alone that the man in white was not human. I have been humbled by this article, thank you for the revelation of Jesus in our time’s of need again and again!

  11. How blessed we are to know our King and Savior is always by our side, and how precious it is that he was concerned for your grief and personally delivered you and your family joy.

  12. WOW … I had to tripple take this picture , this is absolutely amazing. And you’re darn right it’s Jesus <3 😀 God works in mysterious ways !!

  13. I agree. Looks like the same guy. Gray jacket and if you look closely ‘Jesus’ is wearing jeans. That is what it looks like. Sorry.

  14. C’mon…

This reminds me of our those over-eager Catholic siblings-in-faith of ours who can spot the Virgin Mary in a bowl of spaghetti.

“Jesus” looks suspiciously like the guy taking the photo, sunglasses and all.

The problem with photo editing is that when the deception is revealed, its negative effects upon Faith are real, while most positive effects remain imaginary (paraphrasing C. S. Lewis).

  15. OMG.. thanks for sharing, at a bible study a friend of mine had shown me a picture of Jesus walking on the water.. he was wearing a purple shawl outside his white robe.. she was a bit hesitant to share with me because she was worried of how we would react… but very very thankful that she did.. I felt like Doubting Thomas for having to be shown the pic.. but now it has brought me closer and bolder to His kingdom 🙂 thanks again.

  16. Why did chills come over me when I seen this picture? 21 years ago, my mother died of cancer then 6 weeks later my brother died of heart failure, the Holy Spirit came into my living room that day, encircled me and came inside me, at that moment, with my spiritual eyes, I had seen a glimpse of God’s glory! He gave me comfort that no one could give me. Remember in the story how suddenly she felt a great sense of peace, her grief had turned to joy in an instant, I am guessing it was right about the time God’s presence, (either Jesus or an angel) stepped into that boat! God is soooo good!!

  17. Your story is amazing. It captured my attention. What great comfort to have Jesus’ presence. This is really inspiring. Thank you for sharing this.

God comforts us in the midst of our pain, and calms the storms in our life. What an amazing gift was given to you.

  18. I had doubts on this photo being the truth, but I remembered… I have prayed a few times in the last weeks to see Jesus… And now I may have… Thank you Lord!

  19. I believe it could be Him, I think He works in such mysterious ways we will never understand. A friend of mine took pictures of her baby’s nursery and found a perfectly round circle right above the crib, he daughter died over 4 years ago. Her son has his sister as a guardian angel, and this family either has Jesus with them there b/c where 3 or more are gathered in His name, there He is with them.

  20. I love God, but this can’t be Jesus. Jesus’ return is one time, marked by a lot more fanfare…and we’ll all know it. I’d believe it could be an angel, but I really do think it looks like the guy in the right of the bottom picture. The 2nd guy on the left looks to be the one who took the picture. Look to the Word – he sent the Spirit when he physically left this earth. It would be awesome to have Him back in a physical presence…but that’s not what God has decided to do…and He knows best. So let’s be happy with that…and I would say skeptical if we see evidence to the contrary.

    • My feeling exactly!!! I wrote in when I first saw this, but it was deleted. So that makes me wonder about it even more. I just KNOW that I KNOW that Hebrews 11 says to have Faith – it doesn’ t say “until you SEE Him.” God bless you – ; – )

    • Craig, Jesus does visit people. The return you reference is a specific event where Jesus is returning with a specific purpose. There is a fear within the church (specifically, some denominations) that we will be deceived by the manifest presence of the Lord becuase that presence could be demonic. John 10:4-5 “And when he (Jesus) brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him , for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” Get to know intimately the voice of the Lord, seek him for to know him is to love him. Not know of him, as in someone just reading his book, but through experiencing him. Yes this can be an image of Jesus with them and you also should have your own intimate encounters with the maniefest presence of God. How do you know if it is God you are having the encounter with? You will know by the fruit. As for your comment about Jesus not being here in the physical because he sent the spirit, lean not on your own understanding. Jesus appeared to Paul after Pentecost.

  21. Cool!! I downloaded the photo and zoomed in. It looked to me like his upper garment was hooded, but the hood was down in back and his hair was white. That made me think of this verse referring to the second coming of Christ.

Revelation 1:14 ~ His head and His hair were white like white wool, [as white] as snow, and His eyes [flashed] like a flame of fire.

  22. Hey, this is truly an amazing picture. I just want to bring to everyones’ attention. If you look behind Jesus, there is an angel. You can see part of his wings above Jesus’ head. If you notice there is a bright light behind Jesus back and at the nap of Jesus’ neck is a head and to the left of the angel is the other wing. Take care and thank you for sharing this picture.

  23. Such a blessing to share, we all know pain, grief and loss, to have a visitation from Jesus, no one could ask for more. Thank you so much for sharing. Sometimes we tend to feel alone, but in our hearts and minds we know God (Jesus) is right here with us. So sorry for the loss of your friend but wow what a beautiful site to see of where your comfort came from. Just gotta love the Lord. thanks again.

  24. This is so “AWESOME”!! The Word of God tells us that we do entertain angels when we are unaware. Angels do look just like a person, and many accounts of people encountering angels that are there and then are not.
We all have our own guardian angel with us all the time. They are not just fat-looking babies strumming harps floating on puffy clouds. They are strong warring angels, and they are also like Jesus coming to our aid. He is always with us, and never leaves us. In these last days Jesus said there will signs and miracles, and they will occur more often.
    Consider yourself “Blessed” beyond measure!
    In God’s Love!

  25. I love this story! what a great reminder that Jesus is always with us! makes me fall in Love all over again with Him!

  26. I have prayed too that Jesus would reveal himself to family members of mine and change their hearts. Thank you for sharing this story it gives me renewed hope.

  27. Blessings to all!

GLORY TO GOD! I wept as I saw this photo and read the story. The presence of God filled the room, HALLELUJAH!!!!!

I don’t see any reason why this family would waste their time just to make up a story/photo like this. They were in shock, and they simply shared the story with people. They’re not asking for people’s approval of the story/photo, they are just sharing exactly what happened to them, and clearly they were moved and blessed by it tremendously. Our minds war against our spirits, and it’s sometimes hard to believe things like this, but Jesus said ‘only believe’. A lot of times we say we’re followers of Jesus, but we don’t even believe the way He did, we don’t truly allow our minds to be renewed, nor do we allow the mind of Christ to be our mindset. Let’s just keep in mind that it’s only among those who believe, have faith, and honor God that miracles will take place among… Skeptics may never be “proved wrong”, because it takes faith and believing to see God’s miracles…Could it be that the church is not seeing as many miracles as we could be, because Jesus isn’t truly honored in His own house, in His own Body, by us? Just a thought….

    Mark 6:4-6

4But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor (deference, reverence) except in his [own] country and among [his] relatives and in his [own] house.

5And He was not able to do [d]even one work of power there, except that He laid His hands on a few sickly people [and] cured them.

6And He marveled because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in Him). And He went about among the surrounding villages and continued teaching.

  28. I believe God and His Word. He said He would be with us always, that He would never leave us nor forsake us. I believe He is always looking for ways to let us know that He hears us and is there to comfort us in our time of need as well as to enjoy our times of refreshing. Give Him all the praise, honor and glory He deserves. He loves us so much no matter what our situations may be and He is always with us even when we cannot feel His presence. But its always a blessing when He reassures us with a vision or a spoken word. Awesome picture of His unconditional love for His child(ren)!!!

  29. Am I the only one who remembers that Jesus said when He came again, it’d be to rapture His bride?

I can buy that this is an angel for before I could buy that this is Jesus.

    • Saul must have seen an angel. Yes, Jesus will come again to rapture His bride, but He did not say he would not come in between. In fact, he said “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

  30. Why is it that you would have to rethink your whole life? Why do you say that you believe in Him and then when He shows up you are stunned? On August 7th 1973 I saw Him and all I wanted to do was get closer to Him and I have told many of my experience. I don’t care what anyone thinks of me. I have many times literally felt His hand touch me and His arms around me in comfort. But I believed in Him long before anything like that happened. It doesn’t matter what others think about the validity of my stories, their lack of faith only changes it for them, they will never change my mind about what I saw and experienced. He is my friend and I am His.

  31. We need some more clarity. There is a person in the foreground in the bottom right who appears to be wearing a grey hoody. If you look at the close up of the sunglasses, roughly in the middle of the picture, to the left of the grey hoody and close to the blue jacket(?) you see some white.

If you look carefully, it could conceivably look like someone in a white cloak. However, there’s also something around the top of the white that may appear to be a person’s head. But if you look more carefully, that would mean the person has an abnormally long neck.

In any event, are the people in this story asserting that the grey hooded figure in the foreground is Jesus, or the white in the background?

  32. How cool is our LORD! Of course it could be Jesus. He’s God! He can do anything He wants to do! He has appeared to others over the centuries since His resurrection. Paul had quite the experience on the road to Damascus, right?! I’ve also read incredible accounts about His appearing to various individuals. My favorite is the recent one about the muslim cleric who was on his deathbed in a hospital in Iran (or it might have been Iraq) and Jesus came to him to tell him He was going to heal him and use him as a witness for muslims. Great photo!!

  33. My parents & grandparents told me that they and my doctors felt that same presence in my hospital room when I was two years old and a blood disorder of some kind was taking my life from me. This presense and the doctors healed me. I will be 62 this month.

  34. My 12 year old daughter pointed out that the man in the photo was very tall. I had read that Jesus was taller than normal-when someone went to heaven and saw Him. I think we need to get used to enounters like this. Jesus really loves us.

  35. I think the whole point here is that JESUS showed up to calm the storm. Whether you believe that Jesus himself is in this picture is irrelevant. For this family on the day they NEEDED peace, Jesus showed Himself to them. Even if it isn’t Jesus in the picture, this family’s faith was restored and hurts were healed so there’s certainly no harm done. I may think I see an angel and in reality I didn’t but in MY REALITY God came to me and helped me and that is all that matters in the end. Great story and I’m very excited that God still shows up and shows out in our lives!!! God bless.

  36. Our doubt as Christians keeps us from operating as fully as God has planned. Thank you for sharing the picture, it is beautiful and what a blessing for those present.

  37. but notice…..that is the man taking the picture so I doubt that he could be taking it and in it too! oh yea of little faith.

  38. thank you for sharing…I will never understand why people have to try to explain it away….get a life….the man Yeshua was there! End of sentence. He is always there but we are rarely blessed to catch a glimps of Him. Thank you Lord for allowing this to happen and forgive the ones that can’t seem to grasp the concept that you really are alive and well and moved with compassion for us.

  39. This the most exciting thing I have seen and I beleave it is Jesus. Because he is alive looking to heal are hurts and help over are sorrows.Thank you lord for being there when we need you AMEN.

  40. My beloved son, Jared Fike, had been in I.C.U. for 75 days when I was praying for him @ 4 am. I was also taking communion for him, and asking God the Father to please heal my son. God revealed to me Jared would be healed Wednesday, August 31, because it was going to be the 77th day of his illness, and seven represents completed, perfected work, and he would be healed. I thought, mom that I am, it meant a miracle for us. It did for Jared, because he went Home @6:20 pm with me by his side telling him how proud of him I was, and please tell Jesus how much we love Him!! God wants to reveal Himself in these last days; oh, how I pray we listen more. In motherly, Christian love, VHF

  41. John 14:21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
    NIV

  42. It reminds me of an event in my life when I was 25 : I was in the army, we just splitted with my then girlfriend, I was so sad and depressed that I was about to kill myself with my weapon but refrain at the last moment. Then I was sitting on a bench in front of the barracks, sobbering non-stop. Never been so down in my entire life. It was then that I felt a really powerful Presence just besides me, comforting me. My grief ceased instantly. Never felt it again afterwards until now. It was so real, so intense, so powerful. I’m sure it was either Jesus or an angel. No question about that.

  43. Jesus us with us every moment of everyday. I thank God has taken the wheel of my life and steered me in the right direction.

  44. Dear ones,

So beautiful and believeable. The clothing the Jesus figure is wearing is like the clothes I saw Jesus in many yrs. ago but without the head covering.
How do I order a print of this picture from you?
    Karen
    [email protected]

  45. guys, the figure we’re talking about is NOT the guy in the foreground (the one with grey sweater) but it is the guy in WHITE in the background!! the foreground indeed is a guy wearing grey hoodie and jeans. The figure in the back is more mysterious.

  46. From my view As I look close I notice that it is not a hood that Jesus is wearing, but it is his long hair, he is a glowing white/grey that is why it gives the appearance of one whole clothed figure but you can see the hair on his back is protruding more than his clothes. I was skeptical at first sight but looking closley this photo is amazing. thank you for posting it

  47. How can anyone who trusts Him for salvation doubt that He really is alive, and present with us, and exactly Who He says He is? He saved my life once, literally and spiritually, in December of 2006. I spent hours with Him, and He spoke audibly with me. In His presence really IS fullness of joy. It was the most amazing experience of my life so far. He once woke me with a hand on my shoulder, and another time while I was wide awake, His face was so near to mine that I could feel His body heat. Of course He’s here. Of course He makes His presence known. He is the most awesome Person who has ever existed. He has all power and all authority in heaven and on earth. He is everything that there is, period. All that is, was made in Him, by Him and through Him. I would recognize my Beloved anywhere. And I wholeheartedly confirm that this picture is a reflection of Jesus of Nazareth in those sunglasses. Thank you for sharing this – praise the Lord. And I would be so, so blessed and so honored should you make a copy of this available for me to frame as well. Thank you! 🙂

  48. Perhaps this figure is the Holy Spirit, the Great Comforter.
Many of us don’t realize or recognize the Holy Spirit’s activity in our lives, but we can know Him as intimately as we know the Father and his son Jesus Christ. They are the holy three-in-one, yes? I have had my own close encounters in intercessory prayer and I know the Holy Spirit has been with me many many times, as strongly and as vivid as Jesus has. This is what I thought when I saw this photo. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

  49. Hey, believe what you want but I believe it is Jesus and I also looked very carefully at this picture and that little white light is not light. If you zoom in on the picture you will see that there is four angels, two are holding trumpets. The first one is above Jesus’ head and the other one is a white spec and behind it is a figure. Some times the imagination can get away with anyone. However, Jesus told us to believe in him. I believe. Whatever you think, half of you who disbelieve probably sit in front of the tv watching Ghost Hunters and question that and still watch it. Anyway, as for the picture, some people call them Ghost, some call the apparitions, but they are real. Doubt if you will, just remember who you call for help and when your miracle happens, will it have happened or will it be just a figment of your imagination?

  50. I will reveal MY SELF to those who are looking for ME, You were seeking the Lord.
I know the Lord reveals himself to me,

  51. This is the most wonderful sighting of Jesus and the most comforting. I lost a foster son to suicide after he returned from Afganistan. He came to his sisters graduation from high school. I took the picture of him with a hugh smile and thumbs up. As we looked for pictures of him it popped out. We had been warned he would soon become one of Yahweh’s angels. On his shirt was an Angel of the Lord in plain sight. I made copies of the picture and my daughter in law created a beautiful poem. It comforted all of us and we grieve but know he is safe with Yahweh.

  52. I had a emotional visit with my son as he’s an inmate. I was sooo crushed with the outlook of possibilities. I sat on a park bench and wept for an hour praying and asking the Lord for his comfort and direction. As I watched the wind swirl Autumn leaves, weeds and feathers, I remembered the man in the photo…oh, how I wanted that closeness and certainty that whatever happens, He would hold me close, give me breathe but most importantly, He would be even closer to my son in jail and my son would be saved. I am still sad…but I know He is close. It also reminded me that before this child was born, I was caught in a housefire. I remembered seeing Him and how He carried me to safety. How do we forget these things ? How do they become so distant ? I do believe Jesus was with you on the boat…He was in my housefire and I believe He holds my son’s heart of depair in jail and soon or later, my boy will embrace him, too.

  53. IT IS REALLY AMAZING AND IT IS REALLY JESUS CHRIST WHO IS ALWAYS AT OUR PRESENCE GUIDING US AND TAKING GOOD CARE OF US!

  54. when u have a relationship with the trinity stories like this do nothing but further reinforce your faith.thank you Jesus for always being there for us.

  55. The image in the photo is not Jesus Christ. Here is why: Jesus will not lie or contradict His teachings. What He said and taught 2,000 years ago is just as valid today. Read and study Matthew chapter 24, and pay close attention the following verses: Verse 23: “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him.” Verse 26: “So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them.” After His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19).

  56. Jane, this is a wonderful, unexpected blessing. I have NO doubt that Jesus revealed himself to you during your grief stricken hours. He does reveal himself to those who seek Him. He is the ultimate comforter, and knowing the love you have for Him, I am not surprised at all that He wanted to bring you peace right then and there. Sharing this the way you have pleases God beyond measure, and gives hope to everyone. God wants a deep relationship with us all, which makes this so exciting. Love you, thank you for sharing your special day. Elaine
