CURE is a non-profit organization that operates hospitals and programs in 20 countries around the world where patients experience the life-changing message of God’s love for them, receiving surgical treatment regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, or ability to pay.
DAI’s basic approach is to listen first, research the real needs of leaders, then design tools that respond to those needs effectively and begin putting in place an indigenous distribution system to enable leaders to access those tools. Every course DAI has written came about this way, including the popular Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program that currently has over 1,000 students enrolled. Local Christian leaders grow in their integrity and effectiveness through ongoing training, mentoring, consulting and access to critical resources. DAI’s programs continue to grow and evolve as new needs are identified or needs change.

Pray for good relations between Christians and Muslims and for an effective ministry to bring Muslims to a personal relationship with Christ. Pray that churches might be better equipped and envisioned to face AIDS with effective ministries. Pray that second- and third-generation Christians may come to personal faith, and for many to be called into full-time ministry. Pray that new workers would be trained for spiritually weak rural churches. Pray for many to be called into the ministry, and for the provision of funds to enable them to complete their studies. Pray for godly leadership for all those who minister to student groups. Pray that both Malawian and expatriate workers may effectively share the love of Christ with the Yao, Ngonde, Lambya, Sena, Lomwe, Gujarai, and Tamil peoples. Pray that expatriate missionaries would have a deep heart identification with Malawian believers and fruitful ministries in this day of opportunity. Pray for the adequate supply of quality reading material for the literate, growing, but poor Church. (Source: Operation World 2001)
